Would I Lie to You? (series)
Would I Lie to You? is a British comedy game show that has broadcast on BBC One since 2007.
Hosted by game master Rob Brydon (since 2009), the main objective is for players to guess whether a statement given by another player is a truth or a lie. Players, all of whom are celebrities, are split into two teams of three, both headed by their regular respective team captains, David Mitchell and Lee Mack, with one player from each side being given a statement on a card to read out that is either a typically farfetched-sounding anecdote from their lives, or an entirely made-up statement that they need to convince their opponents of being true, with the opposing team getting a point if they correctly guess as being true or false.
