2105 was the year to which the Ninth Doctor first brought Rose Tyler after she had accepted his invitation to become his companion. However, they did not depart the TARDIS, because the Doctor felt it was "a bit boring." Ultimately, the Doctor decided on the year 5,000,000,000 as Rose's first disembarkation point.
