Abigail Blench was a woman who applied to enter the community of Sweetville in 1893. Her friend, Sissy Roper, (PROSE: The Crimson Horror) had applied and been admitted to Sweetville, but hadn't written back after doing so. Three months later, Jenny offered Abigail a guinea to faint. Jenny picked a lock to look deeper into the factory while everyone was distracted. (TV: The Crimson Horror)
