Aimarrh

Aimarrh was a humanoid from a planet that worshipped the Eternal Machine.

Aimarrh, who came from a poor family, was an acolyte of the Machine. One night he had the dream, which meant he was chosen by the Machine to make the journey to the stars. A procession led him to the Sanctuary of Stars. Inside, he stood in the middle of the congregation, waiting to enter the golden doors housing the Eternal Machine. Instead, the Third Doctor entered and told all assembled that their religion was a lie. In the chaos, Aimarrh could still feel the Machine's presence in his mind. As the Machine burned, Sarah Jane Smith took him out of the building. After she left him, Aimarrh could still hear the voice of the Machine through the flies that buzzed around his head.
