Aiyaruc was the potential assassin of Elissa. He was owned by Pygmalion who chastised her. She came from a land far from Tyre. She came with the First Doctor on his trek to find Susan Foreman, Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton. She trained Susan in sword fighting. The Doctor could not pronounce her name, calling her "Eric".
