Albie Sinclair

Albert Sinclair, also known as Albie or Al, was one of Helen Sinclair's elder brothers.

Early life[[edit] | edit source]

Albert, better known as "Albie", was born to Mr and Mrs Sinclair and had three siblings: Harry, George and Helen. (AUDIO: Absent Friends, UNIT Dating)

After Albie was caught and imprisoned for homosexuality whilst it remained illegal in the United Kingdom, his father disowned him and tore up all the photographs they had of him. Although his father never talked about him, Helen never forgot. (AUDIO: UNIT Dating)

When Helen was sent back in time by a Weeping Angel, to the record shop where Albie worked. He helped Helen acclimatised after her experienced. He started a snowball fight challenge with her, but were followed by an Angel. He told her about Bailey, and took her to one of his band practises to meet him. His landlord sent the police on them. Helen removed her cover to protect him from the police. They went to record shop to find a way to send a message to the Doctor. However Jack Harper sent him back in time. Albie was reunited with Trev in the 1890s and stayed with George Litefoot. The Doctor gave them a tape recorder to send messages to Helen through time. (AUDIO: Albie's Angels)

Helen did not mention Albie to the Doctor or Liv Chenka until she got to know Tony Clare and Ron Winters, two older men who lived openly as a couple in 2020, and thought about how her brother could have had the same. She shared these thoughts with Liv. (AUDIO: UNIT Dating)
