Aldermaston
Aldermaston was a place in England, located about four days' walk from London.
Aldermaston was the site of the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment. Protesters from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament annually marched to Aldermaston, though by 1960 they had changed direction and marched from Aldermaston to London. (PROSE: Come Friendly Bombs...)

Location information
Though it's possible that a real world location doesn't exist in the same geographic space in the Doctor Who universe, such cases are few and far between. Thus, the map to the right is probably a good indicator of the DWU location of Aldermaston.
