Annie Watkins
Annie Watkins was a woman who defeated Mari Lwyd.

Annie was barely able to boil an egg until she met Jeffrey Watkins, who first held her hand at Bryn Onnen woods. The two married and, eventually, Jeffrey died, after which Annie lived alone next door to Mike and Hannah Lewis, whom she thought were a nice couple.
One December, Annie allowed Ianto Jones to spend Christmas on her property. Joined by Daniel Price, they were menaced by an entity claiming to be the Mari Lwyd and which killed her neighbours before using them as puppets. She forbade it from entering her house even when it used Jeffrey to try to tempt her; she called it a "nameless thing" and told the Pale Men to rip it apart, which they did.
On Christmas, Annie had dinner with Ianto and encouraged him to answer the phone when Jack Harkness called him. (AUDIO: The Grey Mare)
