Anvil Star
The Anvil Stars region of the far future was the site of the aftermath of a devastating battle during the War in Heaven. At the time of The Book of the War, the battle had not yet happened, and the authors found it hard to believe that anyone would want to deploy forces to fill in the necessary "back-time events". This battle gained notoriety as one of the Five Famous Space Battles.
Various parties used the post-battleground as a fertile source for paradoxical material.
When an expeditionary cohort of the Seventh Wave was cut off from the Homeworld near to the frontier in time, equipped with only an 89-form timeship, Quintessence Officer Hierarchio suggested they search for a world to make a settlement. During their search, they arrived in the Anvil Stars region, and there they discovered gardener devices pruning budding universes into Leviathans. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
