Arcturus was a planet in the Arcturian system. It was notable as a planet in the Galactic Federation and the home world of the Arcturans.

They sent a research vessel to Earth in that year, where they captured specimens of humanity in the form of the crew of the Marie Celeste, but their spaceship was attacked by a sea serpent, dragging it to the bottom of the ocean.
