After the Tenth Doctor poisoned the Kotturuh, Avkhan led a ship back to Magnox. When they arrived above the planet, he transmitted to the Council of Minds demanding they tell him how the Kotturuh could survive the judgement and defeat the Doctor. He offered to end the Kotturuh's judgement on Magnox in return and threatened to wipe out them if they did not comply. The Minds asked that he put his questions to them personally in the Chronicon, but, when he arrived, he was horrified to find that Brian had murdered them and that the Doctor was on Magnox. The Doctor used a data field to temporarily immobilise him and his ship, giving him time to send an evacuation order to the Magnoxians.
