The Battle of Malplaquet was an Earth conflict. The battlefront was visited by the Doctor, where he met the Duke of Marlborough. In his fourth incarnation, the Doctor mentioned it to Sarah Jane Smith while they were being shot at by Kraal service mechanics, but before he could relate the story she interrupted him.
