The Bernustan were a species of highly intelligent, giant, air-breathing reptilian traders from the planet Bernusta. To profit from the demand in Earth ornaments, a company arranged for houses to be collected from Earth and sold — often with the human owners included in the sale.
The Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams, along with the Harvey household, were responsible for making the trading stop. The company suffered heavy losses and bankruptcy brought about by their sudden loss of stock. (COMIC: The Home Store)
