Bert Pritchard was a Llanfairfach miner.
He and Dave helped Dai Evans investigate the mine, but when Dai was infected by Global Chemicals pollutants, Bert and Jo Grant went down to help him. However, Hinks sabotaged the lift and Bert and Jo became trapped in the mine. They went to look for a way out, but Bert became infected by Global Chemicals pollutants, after which he began to feel weak and let Jo go on. The Third Doctor and Dave later found him, and Dave took Bert out of the mine. He was taken to a hospital, but he later died from the pollutants. (TV: The Green Death)
He was survived by his twin brother, Talfryn Pritchard. (HOMEVID: Global Conspiracy?)
