Blackdown Woods

Blackdown Woods was a forest in Farringham, outside the grounds of Farringham School for Boys. A student, Baxter, was popular with the older boys for stashing beer in the Blackdown Woods. On 10 November 1913, Jeremy Baines went there to collect some beer and witnessed the Family of Blood's ship land. (TV: Human Nature)
