The synopsis of Blood Harvest says the novel is set in 1929 but this is never said in the text. If this date is accurate, the references to Coolidge would be an example of how DWU history differs from the real world. Coolidge's decision to not run for president actually happened in 1928, Herbert Hoover won the 1928 election, and Coolidge's term officially ended on 4 March 1929.
