The Continental Palace Hotel was a hotel located in Saigon. In 1969, during the Vietnam War, several journalists were staying there and succumbed to conditioning by an alien that had crashed on Earth. They prevented anyone from entering the hotel, where the alien was hiding. The Third Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith were able to enter the hotel, so the Doctor could help the alien, but it was killed by Martin Jackson. (PROSE: Interesting Times)
