The Daleks' control centre was a looming structure at the heart of a Dalek base during a war. Inside the control centre stood the King Dalek; it was guarded by platoons of Dalek guards, some silver with red domes, others golden with blue domes. A small group of human agents managed to get past the Daleks, but, according to one account, at least one of them was exterminated by the King Dalek as they revealed him when pulling apart the four panels of the control centre.
