A corporal was part of the raid by the army detachment Orange Patrol on the warehouse in which the War Machines were being constructed in July 1966.

The corporal led the patrol into the warehouse, but most of the soldiers were killed by the War Machine.
He and the surviving soldiers exited the warehouse, and reported to their captain that the machine had wiped them out. (TV: The War Machines)
