Daft Jamie
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Daft Jamie was a young man living in Edinburgh in 1828. He was considered a halfwit because of his low level of intelligence. He was murdered by William Burke and Billy Hare. Evelyn Smythe was upset that she and the Sixth Doctor could do nothing to change his fate but the Doctor assured her that he would live on in history and in their memories. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
Although it is not stated in the story itself, Daft Jamie's real name was James Wilson and he was 18 years old at the time of his murder in October 1828. In the DWU, however, Jamie's murder is strongly implied to have taken place shortly before Christmas 1828.
