Dalek time fleet

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Dalek time fleets were Dalek fleets comprised of Dalek time ships.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

During the Last Great Time War, a Dalek time fleet, which Cardinal Ollistra noted was the largest of its kind to ever be assembled, attempted a final assault on Gallifrey. To combat the time fleet, two Time Lords, Bennus and Arverton, were selected to sacrifice themselves by detonating the Time Destructor on the base Omega One; although it appeared that the duo had been chosen at random, (AUDIO: The Innocent) Ollistra had purposefully selected Bennus and Arverton for the mission due to their statuses as followers of the peace-desiring Time Lord strategist Seratrix. (AUDIO: The Heart of the Battle)

As the Dalek time fleet approached Gallifrey, it encountered Omega One and, unaware of who was onboard, ordered Bennus and Arverton to identify themselves. The time fleet then fired several Dalek scan beams at Omega One to identify, and then swiftly destroy, the base. However, the War Doctor quickly arrived in his TARDIS and convinced Bennus and Arverton to abandon their mission and allow him to use the Time Destructor. Shortly following the duo's departure in their TARDIS, the Dalek time fleet repeated its order to Omega One to identify, only for the Doctor to detonate the Time Destructor. The Dalek Time Fleet Commander had barely enough time to recognise the Time Destructor based on its energy signature matching its previous use on Kembel, when the Time Destructor rapidly aged the Dalek time fleet, destroying it. (AUDIO: The Innocent)

Following the destruction of this Dalek time fleet, the Daleks commenced Operation Thousand Worlds. (AUDIO: The Thousand Worlds)
