David Gee had a wife by the late 20th century.
In 1987, both David and his wife were in Southport when they saw the Ninth Doctor pull a child out of the way of a VW Beetle. The Doctor then told them "I'll regret that in the morning" before disappearing into the crowd. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)
