Sir David John White, better known by his stage name David Jason, played himself in Consider Yourself One Of Us...
He was also offered the part of Kane in Dragonfire.[1]
Jason's acting career is as old as Doctor Who itself, with some of his most famous roles being Derek "Del Boy" Trotter on Only Fools and Horses, Detective Jack Frost on A Touch of Frost, Granville on Open All Hours, and as the original voice of Danger Mouse.
