Del Boy
In 1987, whilst "Never Gonna Give You Up" was playing, Rose Tyler said that Pete Tyler was a sort of Del Boy; he didn't take it as a compliment. The character is from the later mentioned Only Fools and Horses but the connection was never made in the DWU. He was played by David Jason.
Shaun Dingwall, who played Pete, would later go on to portray Del Boy's father, Reg Trotter, in the prequel series Rock & Chips. In this series, the younger Del was played by James Buckley.
