Davros's trial (Destiny of the Daleks)
During the Dalek-Movellan War, Davros was placed on trial.
History[[edit] | [edit source]]
Capture[[edit] | [edit source]]
On the Dalek homeworld Skaro, Davros was captured by humanoids who had escaped enslavement at the hands of the Daleks. One of the freed slaves was Tyssan who, after arranging for an Earth high security ship to collect his party, informed Davros that he would be taken to stand trial for "crimes against the whole of sentient creation". As Davros attempted to protest, the Fourth Doctor activated a cryogenic freezer which froze Davros within a "block of ice". (TV: Destiny of the Daleks)
Sentence[[edit] | [edit source]]
As observed in The Dalek Conquests, once the cyrogenically frozen body of Davros was handed over to the human authorities, he was put on trial and imprisoned in a space station, sentenced to eternal cyrogenic incarceration. (AUDIO: The Dalek Conquests) Whilst in this state of suspended animation, Davros retained full consciousness. (TV: Resurrection of the Daleks)
Aftermath[[edit] | [edit source]]
After ninety years, the Daleks, led by the Supreme Dalek, lost the Dalek-Movellan War, having been afflicted by the Movellan virus. Seeking Davros' assistance in creating a cure, the Daleks liberated Davros from his prison station in space, and revived him again. (TV: Resurrection of the Daleks)
