Déjà vu was a phenomenon involving the recollection of a memory of something an individual believed they were experiencing for the first time. A number of different accounts give different explanations for how it worked.

In UNIT HQ in either the 1970s or 1980s, when caught in a time loop due to an Ogron's malfunctioning time machine, Andy Davidson asked the Eighth Doctor how they could remember previous iterations of the loop; he responded by saying that déjà vu was an occupational hazard for time travelers. When Majenta and the Tenth Doctor travelled to Stormlight House in the Proxima system, during the largest storm in the universe, Majenta got déjà vu when entering the house. - A track from the soundtrack of Eve of the Daleks is named "Deja Vu".
- Some media, such as the comic story Room with a Deja View [+]Loading...["Room with a Deja View (comic story)"], the short story Déjà Donna [+]Loading...["Déjà Donna (short story)"], and the Adobe Flash game K9: Deja Who [+]Loading...["K9: Deja Who (video game)"], are named after the phenomenon.
- Deja vu was the title of the first episode of Pisces, a sequel series to the fan-made Audio Visuals series.
