Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Master's personal history was altered by the Time Lords for use in the Time War.
- The Time War was over by the end of the Seventh Doctor's life with the Master's trial, but the Catalyst used the opened Eye of Harmony in the Doctor's TARDIS to change time to restart it.
- The Catalyst may have been Rassilon, the Daleks, the Master acting on psychic programming from his time as a weapon in the Time War, the Valeyard, or something else.
- The Eighth Doctor frequently was able to sense the futures of people around him, as a result of remembering events that happened in alternate timelines overwritten by the Time War.
- The politics of the early 2000s Earth may have been an echo of the Time War.
- There were multiple ninth incarnations of the Doctor who lived and died in the Time War. In several timelines, the Eighth Doctor regenerated in places other than Karn and became Doctors other than the War Doctor. These timelines were negated and rewritten.
