The drunk giraffe was the name given by the Eleventh Doctor to a dance style he invented, executed by fully extending the arms above the head and shaking them side to side. He first performed it at the wedding of Amy Pond and Rory Williams. (TV: The Big Bang) He later taught the dance to the children of the town of Christmas during the hundreds of years he spent protecting the settlement on Trenzalore. (TV: The Time of the Doctor)
