The Earls Court Exhibition Centre was located nearby. In the 2000s, while taking a taxi and dealing with the return of the Mandragora Helix, the Tenth Doctor attempted to have the taxi driver drop Donna Noble off at Earl's Court while mis-remembering where he had parked his TARDIS. In the 2010s, servants of the Great Intelligence working in the Shard spent a night looking for the TARDIS after the Eleventh Doctor took himself and Clara Oswald straight to the next morning. During the search, there was an "embarrassment" at Earl's Court. (TV: The Bells of Saint John)
