The Elms Rest Home was a nursing home located in England's southwest peninsula.
In February 1974, Lucie Miller worked at Elms for two weeks while the Eighth Doctor tried to locate a piece of Mandilus alloy in the area. He eventually tracked it back to Elms and discovered that Matthew Ricas, a carer at Elms, and Cecile Charmers, a resident at Elms, both possessed halves of the alloy. With all pieces of the alloy found, Lucie quit her job at Elms to continue her travels with the Doctor. (AUDIO: The Curse of the Fugue)
