Endurance, Endeavour in some sources, was the sword of Zilla in mythological accounts of her conquests. In the legends, it was a magical sword.

Rylan Winsell thought he had discovered the legendary sword in the catacombs on Neirut. According to the Doctor, the weapon which he called a sword was in fact a conductor which fed on psychic energy. Nevertheless it did function as a weapon, and it was used to kill multiple administrators. Each blow from its blade also released an energy discharge, drawn from its victim.

Under the psychic influence of Zilla, Rylan committed multiple murders, using this weapon to kill Mullen, Graviel, Wesley and Vorne, all administrators. According to the Doctor, Rylan was the one being used, in truth. (AUDIO: Dead and Breakfast)
