Esssar

Esssar was one of a dozen aliens who crashed on Earth and were rescued by a man-of-war in 1814. The captain and his crew thought that the aliens were a form of Earth life and called them "Melanesians". Esssar and the other aliens helped the Seventh Doctor retrieve his TARDIS, which was under water. When they came back on board the ship, Esssar gave birth to a baby girl, surprising everyone on the ship, who had thought she was a male. (PROSE: No Room)
