A "Euro-Combine Treaty" is being signed in AUDIO: The Longest Night, a story released the year after The Harvest and set in a vague near future but before The Harvest. This depicts greater integration of the European Union.
By 2021 in the real world, and in various DWU sources released after 2016, the United Kingdom had exited the EU. The inclusion of a "Euro Combine" administration presiding over a British hospital in this story, released in 2004, is in stark contrast to history, which would not come to pass for nearly another two decades.
