Excitonics

Excitonics was a branch of knowledge on Gallifrey.

According to Engin, a "phenomenal grasp" of applied excitonics was required to hack the complexity of the excitonic circuitry of the Biodata archive of the Time Lords. The Decayed Master proved to be able to remove the Doctor's biodata extract. The Fourth Doctor believed that he too would be able to hack into the Matrix, noting that there were worlds in the galaxy where excitonics would be considered "prehistoric junk".
