Why don't we have an unsigned template here? I am used to having two, one for users and one for IPs. We have neither here and it is hard to see who has written what comment. We should have one and I could bring them here from my other wikis if the community agrees that they are a good idea. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 14:40, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Well...because no one really thought to create one when this wiki was first started, and likely hasn't been of enough concern for anyone else to create one since. I don't have any issues with them created here. I've often erred on the side of wanting people to learn how to do stuff (with them making mistakes along the line as well), so it wasn't something that immediately occured to me. I also tend not to venture into The Howling too often (where I imagine much of the unsigned stuff goes on). --Tangerineduel 15:02, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I could add what is on Community Central that has a note on the template asking people to sign comments with ~~~~ as well, if you like. That would tell users how to do it as well. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 15:05, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

See {{unsigned}} and {{unsigned-anon}}. They are used as follows:

{{unsigned|UserName}} and {{unsigned-anon|IP}}

Such as:

– The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tangerineduel (talk • contribs) .

or:

– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 180.15.22.51 (talk).
