Fritter was a poodle archivist.
He and Char monitored Earth transmissions from a space station in the dogworld's system. Fritter also ran a sideline: selling black market tapes of Earth films, for poodles that liked seeing a world where humans treated them as pets. (PROSE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen)
