Galdani Commander
The Galdani Commander was the leader of the Galdani crew who were awakened by psychic forces shortly after Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and Dr Anne Travers entered their long-buried space ship in a cave deep under the Coober Pedy opal mining town in Australia.
The Galdanis were concealed in upright cylindrical armour shells, with only a letter-box slot for their eyes and a single snaking arm, ending in a huge claw, which emerged from what would be the middle of the chest in human terms.
The Galdani were an advanced space travelling species, but they treated humanoids such as Earth people as cattle to be rounded up and harvested for mental energy. To this end they deployed egg-like devices to drain minds. The Galdani Commander was typically ruthless and indifferent to human suffering. (PROSE: The New Unusual)
