Australia's Gibson Desert was where Paul Forbes' Land Rover once broke down. It was somewhere between Darwin and Alice Springs. In 1979, it was also the crash site of a piece of Skylab, which, thanks to the Seventh Doctor, narrowly missed landing on Forbes.
