P.R.O.B.E. director Giles has a YouTube channel on which he occasionally posted unboxing videos. He once began to film an unboxing video for a rare copy of Doctor X and the Caverns of Andostar using the work phone he habitually use to film his video diary case files, reasoning that "what Sir Andrew doesn't know won't hurt him", but turned the results into part of an actual case file after all when it turned out that the DVD he'd been sent was cursed and had been created as a trap for P.R.O.B.E..
