Guacamole was a foodstuff into which other foods could be dipped.
River Song and the Eleventh Doctor were dunked in guacamole by the fish people. The Doctor was surprised to learn the fish people knew so much about guacamole, and suggested they might have seasoned it with chilli. (COMIC: An Adventure in Brine and Plaice)
