Guildford Dudley
Lord Guildford Dudley (PROSE: The Nine-Day Queen, TV: Lost in Time) was the son of the Duke of Northumberland and the husband of Jane Grey. At the age of fifteen, Jane Grey's parents forced her to marry Lord Guildford Dudley, by the will of Guildford's father. (PROSE: The Nine-Day Queen)
Jane Grey thought that her husband was an ass. (TV: Lost in Time) and once told the Duke of Northumberland as much. (PROSE: The Nine-Day Queen) She once complained to Rani Chandra that he talked of nothing but himself, failed to compliment her if she wore a new gown and never washed. (TV: Lost in Time)
During the year that they were imprisoned by Queen Mary, Jane and Guildford became friends, and she wept when he was executed. (PROSE: The Nine-Day Queen)
