Guthrie worked in the refuelling stations on Duchamp 331. He helped the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Bev Tarrant to destroy the Warp Core and the Krill by venting the fuel and exploded it, destroying Duchamp 331. (AUDIO: Dust Breeding)
