History[[edit] | [edit source]]

In March 2005, the Ninth Doctor bought a copy of Heat from a newsagents, but stared at Edward J Green when he greeted the Doctor. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man? [+]Loading...["Have You Seen This Man? (short story)"])

Jackie and Rose Tyler owned issues of the magazine by March 2005. On 5 March, the Ninth Doctor took a quick read through one of the issues while searching for an Auton arm in her flat. His eye was caught by a double-spread about a celebrity wedding. The Doctor noted that it wouldn't last, since "he's gay and she's an alien." Luke Smith apparently picked up some of his knowledge from Heat, including the alleged fact that Johnny Depp had coulrophobia. (TV: The Day of the Clown [+]Loading...["The Day of the Clown (TV story)"])

Jessica Montague once read Heat on a bus in 2009. (PROSE: Consequences [+]Loading...["Consequences (short story)"])
