Henry Goddard

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Henry Goddard was one of the crew of the Guernica. He was born in 1915. He was in a relationship with a woman named Sarah, but they parted on bad terms. He also suffered from depression and took amitriptyline to treat it.

In 1959, he and Sam Doyle were chosen to pilot the Guernica to investigate the Mariana Trench. When they reached the bottom, an alien parasite was able to get into the submarine and infect Sam and Henry. Henry was unsuitable because of the amitriptyline, so it infected Sam and made Henry trap Sam outside. Henry later died of other causes, leaving his body trapped in the Guernica at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. (AUDIO: Submission)
