Hovvaship

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Hovvaships were operated by the human military in the early 24th century.

Some weeks or months after a Dalek saucer crashed on a planet, a hovvaship arrived and dropped personnel in autochutes, jumping from a distance of 20,000 feet for the safety of the ship itself. The planet's surface was unstable, with the canopy of the iron forest proving a hazard along with pressure pockets which made it hard to navigate the shards and spikes. To their surprise, the humans found a single survivor amongst the wrecked bronze Daleks, a Kaled mutant trapped in its own casing, which they designated Specimen Six Sigma. Georgette Gold guessed that it was kept alive by static from the regular lightning storms. Six Sigma became one of twelve captured mutants whose memories were used to create the psychoscapes of the Dalek Dome, which was discovered by the Fourteenth Doctor in 2323.
