The Hy-Bractors were large grey blob-like creatures, genetically engineered by the genius Chantal Osterberg, who feasted on humans. Osterberg created them to replace the human race as a more advanced species because, although she was a genius who developed drugs to suppress the "wrong feelings" in humans, Osterberg decided this wasn't enough. Having eradicated her conscience, she developed the creatures. (PROSE: Only Human)
