A hypno-pulse was a technology used by Dalek interrogators to hypnotise individuals.
During the 2323 Dalek invasion of Earth, a Dalek interrogator from the Golden City Zone sent a hypno-pulse through its specialised eyepiece into Lieutenant Georgette Gold's earpiece. A hypnotised Georgette would use her earpiece to hypnotise the entire Dalek Dome by placing a microphone to it, emitting the hypno-pulse through the Dome's loudspeakers. This hypno-pulse was broken, setting free all those affected, when Georgy Gold broke off the interrogator's eyepiece, impairing its hypno-vision.
