Information Service (TV21 122 short story)
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Information Service was a 21 short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
After an outpouring requests for information concerning the reason for the termination of the adventures of the Daleks in TV 21, an explanation is finally printed by the editorial team at headquarters.
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Stories about the Daleks were terminated due to the breakdown of the hyper-space communications scanner which relayed information back to the Fleet Street offices. There is evidence to suggest that they have taken over its complete control.
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story marked the final appearance proper of a Dalek in TV Century 21 and offered an in-universe explanation for the conclusion of The Daleks series in January 1967. As suggested in the final story, The Road to Conflict, it is implied here that the Daleks have finally located human civilisation and are preparing for a full-scale invasion of the Solar System.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Daleks continue their acts of aggression against humanity. (PROSE: From Special Agent Peter Ayliffe, COMIC: The Road to Conflict)
