Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Twenty One is only able to print bare details on T.J. Younger for security reasons.
- Younger was born in Australia forty-seven years prior to 2067.
- Younger served as a Senator at the World Security Council representing the Australasian states for a long time. In 2057, he was elected senator for Mars and three years later became the vice-chairman of the World Government, deputy to the Vice President.
- Younger was "overwhelmingly" chosen as the new World President following the resignation of Nikita Bandranaik.
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story clarified that Nikita Bandranaik had been replaced as World President by T.J. Younger. Although Bandranaik's impending resignation was foreshadowed in TV Century 21 as early as January 1966, Younger's ascension to the post was not acknowledged until the publication of World Mourns Dead Space Hero in April 1967. Confusing the matter further was the fact that Bandranaik's likeness was regularly employed as the face of the World President in place of a unique design for Younger until June 1968.
