Ingrid Jonsdottir was the Chief Inspector in the Icelandic police force. She warned Yrsa Kristjansdottir about the her investigation. She tried to make sure that she was in charge of the cases relating to a forbidden zone. She didn't like Sigdor Jonsson and kept Kristjan's files on the Hellion.
